The metronome is truly essential to help musicians find a stable tempo and a regular beat. It's a sort of path to follow which will indicate each beat, it's then up to you to play the rhythms around this regular beat indicated by the metronome. The tempo is expressed in number of beats per minute.

To facilitate the choice of tempo, the application offers the main verbal indications used in classical music:

If you choose 'autre', you have the freedom to enter the desired tempo yourself.
